97 firebird formula suggestions!!!

hi, a new 97 firebird formula sueprcharged owner here. l do not have so many informations about cars.. and l need some suggestions about this car.. how is she?? how should l drive her?? also, my service engine soon light is on.(always) my brake is so hard. is it from the factory?? can l make is softer?? the second day l bought my girl, l lady hit me, from the parking area.. it was a small accident.. but l was so mad.,. cuz it was my first ride.. she's automatic transmission and whenever change gear, the car jumps. is it becuause of engine? (to strong v8) or my girl has problems? also she is using so much gas. also, the airconditioning system is not making cold. it,s hot.. l am boiling in the car. is it hard and expensive to fix it??

hey there bud I think I can help you out as I am a supercharger runner myself,,also have 3 vettes and a few more toys ,,first thing you have to do is slow down and explain your problems one at a time to me and I will address each one with you as we go along,,send me a private message and I will hook you up with your problems,,,first thing though is go top auto Zone and have them run the car for codes since your light is on,,and then we will go from there.,,You should drive her normally,,and the gas issue may be a service engine soon problem so you need to get the codes so we can find out what they refer to in the book,,also there should be a vaccuum gage in the center of your cluster,,when you stay below 0 she should get decent gas mileage or the closest you stay to zero the better your mileage will be,,the hard shift may be a shift kit that was added to the trans for performance issues,,you should have a 700r4 trans in it and they may have put a strip kit in her,,she should have a performance or towing kit in her ,,but you should be ok may take a week to get used to it,, The brake issue we will
