*Project Extreme NISMO 350Z Super Z Tune*

I had an idea to convert Tamiya's JGTC Z to an extreme tuned street version and to apply the NISMO color scheme. It will have stock interior from the 350Z street car and 4 rear tires from the stock Z. Seats are from Porsche GT3.

The body is painted with Cobra Colors Nissan Aluminum Metallic, various SMS carbon decals cut for wing and interior, hood vents. Wheels are painted semi gloss black, interior with Acryl Interior Black and Guards Red. Decals are from Aoshima's NISMO R34 kit and the etch set is by Tamiya.

Toning down the body just a bit for street purposes I got rid of the racing fuel fillers on both sides then drilled a hole for a single one on the drivers side.

Also filled the slot on the front where the pull hook was and the air fitting hole, and the indentions in the rear 'window'. You'll notice the white body hood vents etc. are different because it's the Xavani car, the one I modded is the Calsonic body.

Thanks!

No, I considered putting a rear window in but it required more work than I wanted...also the stock windshield will not work in these race bodies.

Nice one, great and clean body work (you should do body repair for money on 1:1 cars :D).

A little update....interior is near completion, just have to install seatbelts and glue in seats. The dash and door panels have silver tweed weave carbon fiber and I cut some tread plate for the floor mats....just for a fun tuner look. I used Replicas and Miniatures etched 'Wizards O's' for gauge surrounds.

The silver carbon matches the car very well. Decided to use the wheels from the Aoshima NISMO R34 too, they are a bit larger in diameter than the racing rims and gives it more of a street NISMO look.

Very nice and clean work Veyron, canīt wait to see it finished, specially with some Veyron-shine on that silver lol. The interior goes very well with the rest of the car, black rims for a racing look, what more could you possibly ask for? Oh yeah, some Nismo decals of course, but Iīm sure they are a part of your masterplan aswell.

Not that you actually need it, but good luck completing this bad 350Z!

Mini update: Interior completed...seat belts were supplied in the etch set and they are peel-and-stick type. Tamiya don't supply enough buckle hardware for two seats so I had to use some spares. The set is intended for the race version which has only one seat...they give you enough belts for two I suppose in case you mess up a set.

The belts are suppose to be 5 point but lazy me didn't cut holes in the seats to do them properly.

Just a mocked up pic showing body nearly completed, will finish in one more session. Decided to mix the color scheme up a bit using some Tamiya Dark Gunmetal on some pieces instead of bare CF everywhere.
