mustang vs civic?!?

whats up with all these rice/jap haters comparing a mustang to a civic? or a vette to a civic? thats just plain stupid because civics wernt meant to be raced. its actually pretty sad that hondas low end cars can even compete with ford and chevy's sports cars. If these muscle car lovin wannabes knew what they were talkin about, they would compare cars that were actually in the same class.

Look, there are dumbasses on either side of the fence. Whenever something says something about civics osem dumb ass comes and compares his piece of shit stock mustang to it, doesn't make sense. However, anytime someone mentions a mustang or soem other lower end domestic dumbass rice boys start whinning about how much better the awesome R34 GTR V-Spec II is, when they've never even seen one, let alone driven one.

His name is "Fogeesiksteythree"

First break it up into syllables:

Fo - Gee - Sik - Stey - Three

Now rule number one, words that end in "O" should actually have an apostrophe after them because they always chop off a letter or two so that they can end the word with an emphasized vowel sound. (example, saying "foo" instead of "Fool")

In this case the letters that have been chopped off are "U" and "R".

So so far we have "Four".

Next if "Gee" this is actually jsut a stretched and emphasized "G".

So now we have "Four-G".

Now we have "Sik". Now you have to understand that it's "cool" to use K whenever possible. usually in place of C's or possibly X.(the weird thing is they tend to not use X in the proper place and then use it in all the wrong places.)

The "stey" in this should be pronounced "stee".

This combines to make "Sixty"

"Three", now this is about the only correct wrod in there, obviously 3 :)

Anyway excuse me but - ECLIPSE SUCKS... especially after the movie , i have a stock FWD non-turbo eclpise in my neighbourhood, driven by some kid that daddy payed for those big ass spoilers and light green paint , plus some dumb stickers "NOS" etc you get the point... dam rice came here too :( ... And for god's sake this car is really horribly slow , i didn't care enough to check but i think it's an automatic too :silly2: ... My friend from the neighbourhood also , he has an old BMW E30 318 with like 250.000 Km on the clock and he beat this eclipse pretty bad once when we lined up all 3 at lights... i just drove at their pace in my porsche and than dropped a gear and punched it... Anyway , a turbo eclipse... maybe it could be quick... i don't know , the one here is hilarious... Anyway you got it right... i really don't get the thing why you yanks think of such silly names , and it's "cool" and $hit...

Unfortunatley we do still have our fair share of rice here. For example a stupid civic sedan painted powder purple with a giant strut wing and more stickers then the inside of a teenage girls locker. Not only are they stickers, but they're the EXACT stickers from F&F. Those stupid greek gods or whatever they are.

Or on the other end of the spectrum theres the dumbass with rich parents in town who bought him an itegra type R for graduationg then sent it up to toronto to be professionally built and when it came back it had 650HP(which i see as pointless in a FWD car) and then on top of that had a giant custom nitrous kit. what did the fucker do last summer after only ahving the thing for like 2 weeks? sprayed the nitrous downtown at like 10:00pm with both sides of the small two lane street totally packed with cars parked outside bars. He barely missed a group of people then went onto the curb and started mowing down parking meters. I think he sheered off like 6 or 7 before bringing up in a tree. Totaled the car, engine and all.

actually i dont like the fast and the furious. the 4g63 turbo is the engine of the lancer evos. its actually a 4g63 turbo but if i used that as my name, itd b too long. i guess your right about how its the same on both sides. its just gonna b another rivalry that goes on forever.

hey Tom_S8, where do you come off sayin the eclipse sucks? jus because theres a poser that you know doesnt mean that it sucks. I bet that if u gave that car to an experienced racer that knows wut hes doin, he could waste u.

maybe im wrong, but im pretty sure the lancers use the 4g93 engine. the 4g63 is from the eclipse/talon turbos. its the same block, but the heads are different. its not the same engine. if it was the same engine, the eclipse turbos would make 276hp just like the evos, but they dont.

Btw when i was in japan they reffered to lancer engines as CE9A something... i don't quite remember now , but it was something like that... And c'mon give me a FWD car that could waste my 577 HP porsche turbo on pump gas and 1.0 bar... I just got it back from modifing... I'll upload dyno charts if you want to beef... I got 560 RWHP on race gas and 1.4 bar... Hell... my porsche 952 would spank your eclpises too... really... I don't feel like arguing on the internet , but crap like that upsets me a bit...

The fact that i'm a moderator doesn't make me any better then other members... i am just able to do more , like ban pepole , move /copy/delete/stick/unstick threads etc. make announcements... Lots of people on the internet compare their Civics to Mustangs. Its almost always Mustangs....very rarely with Camaros/Firebirds. And its the Mustang owners who could care less about the Civic drivers and compare their stangs to the Camaros. Why doesn't Pontiac get much play in this? Basically the Firebird is the same as the Camaro so when you say either of the names your vouching for both cars, but its usually Camaro that is said most. I dunno I like Pontiac vehicles all around (except that gay Vibe and Aztek :bloated:) better but Chevrolet is obviously more well known.

Lancer evo's do use the 4G63, but its one that is more tuned than the american version.
4G93's are also in lancers but are 1.8L's, they come in either a 1.8 SOHC or a 1.8 DOHC turbo version.

can't wait till the Lancer VII comes out, in Japan they do 0-60 in 4.5 sec with only 276 hp, mmmmmmmmm....oh yeah along the lines of ecipses and stuff...I might get a Talon TSI I found on the internet, it's not all that great but they have more potential then lots of other imports.

no offense to mitsubishi fans or anything but you better be careful when you buy a used mitsubishi esp if its turbo. mitsubishi's are known for fallin apart like a cheap chinese motorcycle. they are fast but they will also cost a fortune to restore.

i havent heard about mitsubishis fallin apart. my dad had 1 for atleast 10 years and when we traded it in, it was woking fine. its just how well u maintain your car.

ok ill admit it. mustangs and domestic do come with more horsepower. that doesnt mean you got skills wit cars. u BOUGHT your horsepower. a civic is SLOW, but thats the challenge. taking sum piece of crap and turnning into an 8 sec car. any idiot can go buy a fast car, but it takes skill and knowledge to turn a crappy car into sumthing fast.

y is everyone always hattin on civics, I think most of em r pretty tyte lookin. Everyone is always like look at that ricer (thats one gay word too, that no one actually says except over the net) he thinks his civic is bad just cuz he modified it. I personally think mustangs suck a fat one exspeacially the design.
