Interesting site with tech info on Prius

My wife discovered this website, which has a number of links with technical information on the Prius, particularly relating to its regenerative braking and fuel efficiency. One of the links takes you to a detailed chart of fuel economy at different temperatures and speeds. Unfortunately, the site does not describe the distance used to conduct the test, but the rigor contained throughout the site tells me that it was probably done over a significant distance to create a valid result.

Greetings Woofhave,
Have you had trouble backing up a steep hill or driveway in your Prius? My 2005 will not back up a steepness that forward gear is able to handle. This is a bummer on where one is limited to park.
Thanks,
Stu

It's my understanding that the reverse gear only uses the electric motor. I also have had times when the car struggled to back up.
