I heard different things but....I heard that if you take off teh cat converter your cars performance is better also heard otherwise, is that true or not?

It may gain a "little" bit of power because you're unrestricting the exhaust, but if your car has an 02 sensor after the cat, you're going to get check engine lights all day long. I wouldn't recommend doing it on a computer controlled vehicle or if you live in a state where you have to pass a smog test.

NO DONT DO IT YOUR POLLUTING THE AIR!!! LOL but yea seriously dont its going to get you in trouble if you get caught so that extra 1-2hp gain isnt worth it.

there are various cat-back systems or you can custom make your own exhaust so whichever you prefer.

I put some high flow cat on mine that was basically a 1.5in pipe down the middle and lost a bunch of torque doing it, I suggest NO
