you don't need to know any of those things
your eclipse weighs like 3400 and the camaro is about 3800.
it doesn't matter what the audi weighs because it is a slow piece of shit anyways.
if you can drive you can take the camaro to 80 mph (you said it's a base model...v6 right?) and you should be able to eat the audi in reverse

I wouldn't be so sure, if it was the 1.8T then he probably would because thats only 170HP and the audi is so damn heavy. But, if it's the V6 model A4 then it's got more like 220HP. Now the audi isn't that much heavier then the eclipse, seeing as how the gs is non turbo and only has like 150HP.

ChebbieSux may I ask How you figure that a stock 96' eclpse GS is going to beat a Audi A4 2.8. It only has 200 hp, the new 3.0's have 220. Regardless it will still take the Eclipse. The A4 1.8t's push out between 180 and 190 hp, that would still beat it. God forbid if it were a quattro! Now for the Camero I believe the stock V6 is 200hp, but don't quote me. It will take the GS as well. My adivce for the guy who bought the car, good choice, but don't go racing anyone just yet. You can if you want to I don't give a rats ass. It may be good to kinda see where you stand. well good luck with your car, TURBO it! :D

p.s. ChebbieSux do a little more research before you start handing out advice.

Damn... have you wrote 2.8 2 wheel drive... i used to know a bit about audis but never heard such thing... I think all the 2.8 are quattro , at least in A4... 1.8Ts are putting out 150 hp stock... And chebbiesucks... Audis... there are some really fast ones... my friend has a 325 hp A4 1.8T, my other friend has a 375 hp S3 , my dad's friend has a supercharged S8 with 475 hp , i know a guy from germany who has a 530 hp B&B RS4 and he has a friend who has a 519 hp (on NOS  ) RS2... The A4 is 5-speed stick and quattro , and the rest is 6-speed plus quattro (4WD) and they no slouches... for real... My S8 ain't that slow anyway... but it's an automatic... hell it's still 370 hp , but if anyone wants to f* with me then i take the porsches out...

But you have to remember , a better driver in a slower car is usually faster then a bad driver in a potentially fast car...

Also depends on how big your balls are, or how stupid you are, either way.

from what i hear... the audi is your main competition. And with 200+ HP against your 200 top id get some aftermarket stuff and kick ass :D
