am i the only one that has a c/k truck in this entire forem??? and if u do have one what year and what mods???

I spend alot of time on automotive forums, but don't really look here in the chevy c/k section, though i do have one. Mine is a 1991 Z-71 extra cab. I took it out of service two weeks ago for retooling, going to be bad motha... already had installed a year ago, flowmaster exaust, msd ignition, msd blaster coil and super conductor wires... now adding... msd distributor, pete jackson gear drive (noisy), crane cams roller rockers (race/pro), flow-tech headers, holley intake manifold, bbk performance aluminum pullies, longer push rods, removing the fan from the pulley system and mountng an electric fan to my new oversized radiator. Hope to be over 310 hp when I finish in a couple weeks.

I have A 92 chevy 1/2 ton.I need to get Apicture of it on here! A baseball size hail storm came through here about A month ago and she got beat up pretty bad.Iwas out of town working at the time and she was outside!! Man was I pissed!!!!!!!! But anyway Ihave big plans!!!!

Chevy trucks oh yeah. I got a 1970 chevy 4*4 1/2 ton bought for $500
four speed manual tranny good shape, origonal granny gears.350 V8 worn out. nice body interior not bad, that chevy sky blue color, 16" rims aftermarket , general mudders tires,Nice deal! I have blueprinted for a short block , 4 bolt mains all felpro, kieth black pistons,. strong bottom end the best way to start. added to the mix, comp cams extreme energy 4*4 cam shaft. comp hyraulic lifters,hardened pushrods,
milodon double roller timing chain.All APR bolts.Decked with some Sportsman II heads 2.o2 1.60 valves 200cc runners, edlebrock performer rpm intake bolted on with gold allen bolts, holley hv fuel pump holley 750 cfm carb. hedmen hedders. dressed it up with milodon gold oil pan. gold timing cover, crome pullys, crome valve covers K/N filter. 9.5-1 rat. nice lookin hi-performance engine. I painted the entire engine compartment flat black to bring the power out. McLeod clutch, grade 8 bolts. no lame ass smog control, This blueprinted engine will produce 405 hp 416 tourqe in midrange rpm. very nice for this 1970 truck. When considered oem stock engine 1970 engine was maxed at 220 hp. Through on some detriot lockers. 2" lift, new shocks, tires, some paint. 69-71 I think are the best looking truck around.....


what if i changed pistons and bolted on a supercharger with duel carbs!!

I have a '93 Silverado Extended Cab that I haved owned since new. 350 with TBI. It has over 125,000 miles and it still looks like new. The engine is clean enough to eat off of it. I just wipe it down every time I open the hood to check whatever needs checking. The interior is spotless. No rips, no tears. The bed doesn't have a single scratch, but it has been used to haul all kinds of stuff from furnitue to building materials. You don't need a liner, just good moving blankets.
I have taken good care of this truck and it has taken good care of me.

I've got a '94 k1500 that I bought recently. lifted with oversized radials. So far I've just rebuilt the 4.3L v6 and replaced the front driveaxles (increased angles tore up the cv joint boots, no good). I hope to save enough to raise it a little more and get some better tires, maybe a solid front axle swap. I'll probably stick with the v6 for the fuel mileage. Great Truck!

I have a 70 C 20. Its orange with black interior. has a diff bed of a 70 but seems to sit a 1/2 inch higher than the cab(anyone know why). It came from factory with 350 v8 4bbl anyone know the hp? My book says 360hp? TH 400. Posi. it has heavy duty suspension. It has a lil rust on door sills and dent on bed. Mine is in pretty bad shape body wise. Not too much rust just dings and dents:frown: I plan to restore it. Ive been browesing thru year one. Its gonna be a 4 year plan of restoration. Plans are....weld rims,350 rebuilt with TRW flat tops,arp bolts, Edelbrock Performer intake and comp cams 268 or 270. Just a decent truck to be daily driven. Im doing all the body work my self. Im going to school to be a collision tech so all in all the dents dont bother me so much. I love my truck but hate filling the gas tank:iceslolan

I have a 1993 K1500 Ex cab shortbed, Custom duel exhause, carpet kit, K&N and Mickey Thompson 16x8 wheels and BFgoodrich Allterain TA Ko 265/75/16 nice truck. 135,000 miles, third owner. looks great except paint job faided bad,. Does anyone know if you have to move the spare tire on a flowmaster duel. thatnks
