2001 Tauras Headlight Switch?????

My instrument panel will not light up, it just went blank one night. I have pulled out the panel and checked all of the bulbs and they were all good. It appears that all of my fuses are good, I don't think there is a separate fuse just for the instrument panel? Is it possible that the dimmer switch could be bad? Although the dimmer switch turns on the interior light. Help!!!!!!

Yes, it is possible the dimmer switch is bad. Check to see if power for the dash lights is going to the dimmer switch and if power to the dash lights is coming out of the dimmer switch. Then check the headlight switch.

There is a 5 amp fuse that is only hot when the lights are on. Check it.
