Ok, this sux. This login/password protected WebTech is bullshit. Making it really difficult for me to figure shit out on my car. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove/replace the E Brake handle for an 01 Tib. Cuz I can not see where to unscrew it, unbolt it, or if it is all one big solid piece that can not be replaced. I bought an after market handle to match my shift knob, and now I am stuck. Any help would be nice.

i believe you have to take out the whole area surrounding the e-brake... a few bolts hold down that large piece, and should come out....

then youll be able to reach the ebrake stuff

I'll go try that, but I was looking at it more, and it almost seems that the handle is part of the whole e brake handle assembly, and doesnt come apart. I am hoping I am wrong, so any thoughts about that?

Yeah, I figured something out. A good sharp Gerber Knife can fix just about anything. lol. But it doesnt look too bad. My friend said it wouldnt work since its Tenzo R, and JAP parts are not compatible with KOR. He shut up right away, lol. Thanx for the help and sorry for the short boring thread.

These are the finished product. I know the blue on black may look tacky to some, but its a plan in progress. It will work well in the end.

Lol. Haha, I am not that into Superman. My friend gave those to me like 6 years ago when I did a Superman dive into the ground when I was into BMX jumping. So the nickname kinda stuck over the years, and I keep those as memory. But who doesnt like Superman anyways. :smokin:

I think like 50$ for the set. Maybe a bit less. Not too much.

Ok, a bit off topic, but kinda similar. Are Alloy Rims paintable, other than powder coat? If so, what paint will work, and does it come out looking half way descent. I wanna go w/a gunmetal black look.

sure they are paintable...go to a paint store and ask them what you need to do ot prep it and what primer to use.

I welcome any constructive critisizm. As far as the seat covers, I gotta sport em till I can afford actual racing seats. Still looking for blue cam cover for the engine.

i suggest:
gettin your valve cover painted/ powdercoated blue, along with your intake manifold...
same color...
do it!
DO IT!

How much does powder coating normally run for something like the valve cover? I am gonna wait on the Intake until I bore it out.
