ashtray power in 2000 Silhouette

My 12 volt seems to be missing since my daughter took the van out for the weekend. They had plugged in a cooler to cigarette socket and lost power. We have checked all the fuses and no luck. Tried tracing the wire back but am leery of dirupting the air bag. Is there any easy way to trace down where the "break" may be? and if there is an inline fuse located somewhere? Thanks for any input.

Don't be concerned about the airbag. As long as you don't mess with yellow connectors with a locking pin in it, you won't have a problem. Just moving or following wires, or unplugging a connection shouldn't cause a problem.
