Torque converter plug????

Today while I was changing the tranny filter,I noticed a 6 point screw under the filter.Is this the torque converter plug?I didn't touch it,I wanted to know before I did.If it is I'll drain it next time.

To the best of my knowledge there is no drain for the torque converter inside or outside the transmission. To drain it you need to remove the transmission and remove the converter itself.

what is that 6 point screw for then?

Dont know what that screw is, but it's not a TC drain. Cars that have them (like a Benz for example) have the drain right on the torque converter. You would have to turn the torque converter until the drain is at the bottom then remove the plug.
