I've changed everything electronical except the computer because i dont know what year or model therefore i dont know which one to buy. i think the timing is off but im no mechanic. i was told it was off but i dont know how to fix it. i get spark n gas but no fire. can someone help me out a lil' bit.

Do you know if the motor has ever been running in this car and or has the distributor ever been pulled out. Has the engine been disassembled so that the timing chain has been removed.

a haynes or chilton manual is a good start. I agree with kmathew, if the distrib or timing chain was played with then the timing will not be right. the areas you'll have to read up on are engine timing and adjustment, compression checking especially on the #1 cylinder (note where the distrib rotor points) and also read up on the timing chain section.
