I have a buddy that has a 1994 camaro convertible with the 3.4 liter engine. My buddy brings it in because it stalled while driving down the road. I started checking the norms. Found the fuel filter to be the factory one ( 155,000 miles on it) it was shot. Which in turn burnt up the fuel pump. He says the service engine light has been on for 4 yrs. I replace the fuel filter and pump cause of the 15 psi reading i was getting. Now I have 40 psi but no spark from the plugs or coils. I have checked the ohms on the coils they seem to be fine. I took the ecm off and had it checked it checked out fine. The service engine light stays on constant when the diagnostic ports are grounded no code 12.. I have guess the pcm is faulty and ordered another but when Cardone flashed it the put a 94 corvette program on it... Dummies...... The car turned over but still no spark at all.. Any Ideas what else I could try if this dont fix the problem...Maybe the chip in the key???? I dunno :banghead: Thanks in advance........Bryan

If it was the VATS I don't think it would crank even. As far as not having any spark if the PCM checked out ok I would go buy a code reader for OBD I and figure out what code it is throwing...

Thanks For the help..... But It ended up being the crank position sensor out.... Car is fine and back on the road.....
