I just recieved a model from ebay which was partially built and i was wondering what was the best way to disassemble the model in order to paint it and then reassemble without messing up the model completely. Thanks for any help.

stick it in the freezer over night it will make the glue unbond and youll be able to get it apart easy :)

does that work if the model is cemented/plastic welded...

There is a paint remover, a kind of paste, that only removes enamel paint, that also removes the cement.

Dip it into water first before sticking it into the freezer... it works like a charm and with no parts breaking (if you're really careful). It works eventhough it is cemented/plastic welded (I've tried it...)

small extra tip: after wetting the kit, freeze it IN A PLASTIC BAG. It catches any small parts that might pop off and sops you loosing tehm amongst the burgers and fries :)
