69 Corvette heater problems

The heater is turned off but I gets very warm inside the vehicle. Feels like heat is coming in from somewhere. I don't think its engine heat but may be a vent is stuck open. Some say they is a valve on the water line to turn off and on. I ain't found it. Help me out fellows.

Your '69 vette gives off a ton of heat from the exaust pipes that travels under the floor right below your feet. I've got a '79 that I plan on installing a heat shield under the carpet when I replace it this winter.
Also Corvette Fever did an article last month (August I think) about sealing up the floor vents on older vettes. Check it out at Corvettefever.com. This may help as well.

Yes, the big blocks get really hot...
