no s2k is good. remeber u can take anything from anything. but contest 3 inst ready. Also stevie ur not in charge of these contests. We have to deicde on who will be.

An official contest is when u have a period of time to chop the car. then u vote. Im sry for the people that are getting bored just cause there chop wasnt good enough to make it in the finals. But these little contests every week as u say arent contest.

sure they are... theres a picture.. a time period.. and people willing to participate. Seems like a contest to me.. and just because your contest isnt over yet doesnt mean we have to idly sit by and just wait until its done and over with. If you have such a problem with me starting a contest than dont participate.. no great loss for me.

i must admit this is one of my BEST chops ever IMO, except the bigmouth grill is off center theres a lil line down the middle of the hood, and the rims are different :o

how exactly do you get the clear corners? ive been playing around with it, but it dont look right :(

Seriously though, this "contest" is prolly gonna be one of my best..i mean BEST photoshops. Honestly, mine looks clean as hell, i'm gonna su'prise everyone, so jus watch out!!

*sitting on 20".....chrome? white? black?
*nice body kit
*EXTREME drop, i mean, so low its gonna look like the fouth o' july :D

even had the cf hood and yellow done already.. guess ill have to make a few adjustments

so far my mods include body kit.. cf hood(realistic one too not jsut painted black).. clear corner lights.. and thats it so far... got lotsa time to work on it tonite

for my clears i desaturated the orange part... then used hue/saturation to get the colour to match the rest of the light
Im pretty sure intgra22 just desaturated the whole lights

thats what happens when you desaturate... it takes all the colour out and leaves it black white and a bunch of shades of grey

i desaturated the orange part and used brightness/contrast on them and then i desaturated the whole light.

im not saying i hate it... but i think it would be a better idea if we just had photoshop buffs voting.... im sure the other people would vote for the one with the most done to it as opposed to the most cleanly done... people who dont know about photoshop probably wont be looking for sings of fakeness... or signs that it was poorly done.. so i think we should stick to people who know whats goin on with photoshop

The other people have no clue whats a good chop or clean chop. Not a good idea cause they will prolly vote for the worst chop rofl.

That gives me an idea, we should start a photoshop tips thread, i'll go do that now.

I just feel that I have to fix the S2000....

This one looks worse then dog's poop , but i really need to have more then 10 minutes for a decent job ... but anyway:

It's not much , only tinted windshield , veilside front bumper of an MR2 , some crappy wheels , shaved door handles , S2K emblems and antenna , changed color (the bumper doesn't match too... i know :( ) , cleared the headlights and blinkers , made them xenon too (more bluish shade) , and made some crap sideskirt out of the OEM one... That's pretty much like it... but it sucks , but the deadline is 10th of May so watch out for me... Ahh i forgot , i also cropped the top with the "S2000" off , for an odd reason... the file couldn't fit under 100kb...:o

They are all really nice, but most of you guys change the front and to me that's kind of wrong. :( Since I'm trying to fix the S2000 and to make it look realistic...I'll stay to the original front.

But hey if you like changing to fronts on cars keep doing that!

If we can't change out parts on cars (ok, ok, the front's not a "part") what can we do? Just doing color changes and shaving gets boring. And I myself don't like lowered cars, or carbon fiber, so I'm not doing that either. I thought this was a skills exhibition of sorts, and it's not any easier to put a new front on a car than it is to put a kit on...that's fine if you don't want to, but there are few rules here, and I don't see a problem.

I wouldn't have a problem with a restricted contest in the future, if we wanted to have a "bodykits only" or a "no color-change" or something like that, for an extra challenge. Or some specific goal like making a s2000 SUV. Or something.

Yes I agree with you, but for me I try to fix the S2000 and still make look like it would be an real tuned S2000. Your car has a Jaguar front right? It is really nicely done and all, but it's not an S2000 anymore.... if you know what I mean....

I'm only playin for now... This one is with a:
-Nismo 400R front clip
-new side mirrors (the left one is smaller , on purpose... it's JDM ver. so the steering wheel is on the right so the left mirror can be smaller because it's not that important...)
-Lowered a bit
-crap new color ( i have to find a good quality shot of some car to do a clean conversion yet)
-Lowered a bit
-Shaved... (antenna , handles , badges etc.)
-New wheels
-tinted winshield
-bluish side indicators
-some other crap here and there
-RB26DETT under the hood :finger: ... :p
