89 Town Car, won't shift at all

I have an 89 T/C that was missing o/d when I got it. Took the pan off, pulled the valve body out, disassembled, cleaned, found a broken spring in one of the spools, replaced the spring, servo seals and trans. filter and reassembled. Now the thing will not shift at all, it shifted fine before but nothing now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It has the AOD trans in it.
