I have known people to find good deals at Marine shops. I have never had and luck, but you might want to try that.

this is an easy one Joann's fabrics carries it, if their is no Joann's in your area grab the yellow pages and look under fabric or upholstery for it if you don't feel like doing none of that stuff go here http://store.yahoo.com/yourautotrim-store/index.html their good people their i have bought a lot of stuff off of them so they are legit and they get your stuff to your door in a decent time plus you can buy samples to see if that's the stuff your lookin for.

I used to do custom upholstery work, and still do on the side. Suede was my specialty (it still is), and I still have all my wholesale accounts. There are a few qaulity types of suedes. My two suggestions would be to get either Novasuede or Alcantara (automotive grade only!! Non-automotive grade is NOT UV protected and will fade. Novasuede IS UV protected).
Some of the Ultrasuede automotive grade suedes are good. Stay away from the regular fashion grade suedes. Stay away from anything else. CHeap suede is pure crap. Your best bet is GENUINE Alcantara or Novasuede.
Novasuede makes a very nice burgundy colored suede. I did my show car in 100% Novasuede (costs a ton, it's not cheap). I have burgundy novasuede (the official color name is Bordeaux) and black novasuede in my show car.

How much are you looking to re-cover? Quality suede is not cheap, and inexpensive suede is pure crap. If you want to get cheap stuff, you're better off with a different material like a qaulity vinyl or an ultra leather.
