water leaking onto passenger floor?

Today my wife picked me up from work and i noticed some water on the passenger floor mat, it was dripping down from somewhere under the dash i think it kept leaking out as she drove the ac was on and i also heard a light rumbling noise that seemed to be coming from the ac vents, could this be the compressor or sumthing or that sort... i have been having problems with the ac kicking on and the digital climat control temp has been saying like 16 degrees when its really like 90 out... maybe this has sumthin to do with it, i read a few post about water leaking into the car but it was a dry day out all day and i has not rained here in 4 days.... thanks for you help

Hmmmm.... de ja vu...

Does the rumbling noise louder when the blower fan is low? Does it get louder or goes away when fan is on higher speeds.

Does the floor still get wet after a medium->heavy rain?

The possible things could be clogged drain hole. And the rumbling, if its what I think it is, may be the water has gotten into the blower and started rusting. I had this issue and replaced the blower.
