What're you're favorite moments when going from point a to b

What are your favorite moments from the minute you put the keys into the ignition, to the minute you take them out?

Me: I like the moment when I put the keys into the ignition, and flip it to start, turning over the car, and getting all those notifcation lights illuminated while the "door ajar" sound beeps for a good 5 or so seconds. All those lights and sounds I think are cool for some reason. My other moment is flooring my way into the high-RPMs and into the highway after the on-ramp.

mine is when i get head! or just hearing the blow off valve pop off after ripping up to 9k rpms!

When I take a turn juuust right, flooring it all the way through with a clean exit and the upshift hits just right. It's better than sex.

considering that my car has a weak little 4 banger, my favorite is really the whole trip. i'm more of a music kind of guy in my car, simply because the engine can't perform that well. but there is nothing i love more than hearing my system. pure bliss

I advanced my timing yesturday, and adjusted my idle so now my car has more even power all through the rev range instead of just high in the rev range, I love the feeling of taking the car for a 5 minute test drive (right after you have serviced, or adjusted, or added a part which will increase performance) in a drive that usually takes you 10 minutes.

So, basically I love driving after working on my car when I can feel a difference in the way the car performs or handles.

Although, once when I was learning to drive (with my dad in the car) I pulled up to a light with a bunch of try hards thinking they are good in their BMW, wanting a drag. It felt good to put my car in Neutral, give it a rev and see their faces, then blow them off on about 3/4 throttle when they were reving that thing out.

This is all in the VL commodore in my sig. (which needs a lot of body work).

i turn on the keys coming home from work at about 10:15, before i get home i take the cv through some country dirt roads and get some good slides in, then i'll continue home.

I love my car. It's not the fastest, quickest, or the coolest but I love it and that's all that matters. I just enjoy driving it and everything.

When I approach a turn that has a sign for "10MPH". I laugh as I am doing 70 in 5th, and heal-toe it down to 2nd doing about 25mph and fly around, tires screeching.

It's a toss up from being first at the stop light and flooring it, and pulling on to the highway. But, 400HP is fun all the time.

Getting out of work at 2am and hoping on the highway to get home. Usually on the 20mile ride never even see another set of headlights. Especially the time that I was doing like 95-100 and I see a set of headlights in the rearview, then flashing red and blues. I slow down to pull over(thinking fuck!fuck!fuck!) the car fly's by me followed by about 7-10 cop cars and a helicopter. Then about 5 miles up the road there was a nice big crash scene. Peace-

When I come out of a turn coming down Powder River Pass and as I floor it I realise that there is a replacement for displacement-Gravity.

No, it's rotary ;)

For me it's the blow off valve...I love that noise.
