will it fit?

i have a 1977 chevy 2wd C10 pickup. It has a 305 with only 37,000 original miles. The truck hasnt been drivin in several years, so i was planning on taking the engine out and rebuilding it. Will a stock c10 305 engine fit in a 1970-1973 Nova. I don't own one yet, in the process of looking.

Yes. But if you find a Nova with a 350 I would rebuild that instead. (if necessary) Why rebuild the 305 when you can rebuild the 350 for the same cost?
