blew up!! need a new B!!

where can i get a b16a2 complete in the neighborhood of 2000?? i blew my first gen b16's head because the SK2 intake cam overflexed @ about 10,000, and the rest is smoke, tears, and history. i want to spring for the 2nd gen because it gives give me the funny roller coasting feeling in my ass when i'm driving the crew's 99' SI, and it's a bit more turbo friendly than its older brother (b16a1). any advice would be good, at this point , i'll pay cash, check, money order, and hey, if Satan has this swap i'll even sell my soul:devil:!! thanks! -ice

dude, just get a B16a. It's the same as the B16a2, just that it doesn't flow QUITE as well....

With the B16a2 you would have to switch over to a Hydro tranny, or convert it to cable, then do the ODB-2 wiring.

Your best bet is to buy a B16a and use the extra cash to build it up.

If you plan on boosting, I'd go for a B18a/b or B20z/b (optimal choice) instead.

overflexed?? at 10,000? i've ran skunk2 cams for a couple years now and always reved up 10,000. what stage cams you using?

overflexed the damn thing spun it self to kindom come thsoe engiens arent rated past 8200 or well msot of then arent eve nrated to that
