I am seeing Mushroomhead tonight...

Yeah, so I am seeing them tonight at Culture Room in SO. Florida. I haven't heard their stuff, but I know they are heavy metal. Thats all. Anyone else see them? How was your experience?

It's not heavy metal.

If I had to throw it into a catergory, it'd go in the nu-metal bin. They have their own sound, and it's alright..

But I think you should've listened to them first.

Yeah, thats basically what I listen to. Nu-Metal. I listen to most Roadrunner bands. But, I haven't ever really thought of listening to Mushroomhead. Are they anything like Slipknot?

They're a wee bit like slipknot. Like.. self-titled album Slipknot.

Only it's not fast.

I think they have 7 members in their band..3 of which sing (maybe 2). But if you dig stuff like Slipknot, chances are you'll like Mushroomhead.

Musically they're very talented.. I just sort of.. lost interest in em.

Yeah, I saw Mushroomhead. Before them was a band called Nocturne, Crossbreed, Dope and Mushroomhead. All the bands kicked ass and you could be like face to face with the bands, it was nuts. It was also my first time at this particular venue. It was a good time. Then we all went to Denny's.....good times.

Woo, i've heard of those bands. I like Dope. I think they have a new album out.

Heard of crossbreed, never listened.. never even heard of Nocturne.

Mushroom head, is eleven guys, two singers, a few guitarists, a bassist, one or two drummers, a guy on turntables, one guy on samples, and one on synthesizer.

They look like Slipknot version 2.0.

I like their sound...everything but vocals anyway.
