Hey folks, just wondering if anyone else has the HPO edition Silverado. Read through posts, know White Lighting has one...BTW WL, did you remove the Vortec HO emblems? I love this truck, only thing is, I think Chevy could have done a little more to make it standout. Mine has the bowtie on the headrests and the Vortec emblems but that's it. I added a GM bug deflectior and In-Channel wind deflectors on drivers & passengers windows. I've also paint-matched AVS louvers for the pop-out windows...looks good! Future plans include a paint matched Gaylord x2000 speedsturr fin tonneau cover and Westin running boards. Interior is plain as all get out. I want to upgrade to woodgrain.
I think they could have resurrected the Rally Sport...but that's my opinion...Thoughts???

Greetings Bowtie,
For most people - my truck is a complete surprise. My 2004 has the LS little badge on the cab side just like all other LS trucks. I had no badging of any kind (inside or out) that showed v.h.o. on it. My wheels have the gold bowtie center. From an exterior look at my truck - the only indicators it is a vho or performance model - is the fact the truck is level - and the 20 inch tires and wheels of course. My upholstery and interior looks just like any other deluxe cloth interior.
I added special inchannel front window wind/rain deflectors - that I specifically hunted for (I didn't want smoke color). I added a hard folding tonneau cover - and since the pictures I display - I have now added a 3D carbon fiber bug deflector. My future plans include a Nelson Tune chip and Aero-tech's full running boards.
Personally - I didn't want a truck that looked too showy - its too big a target for thieves. I wanted a truck that stands out to those who know to look for it - and the wheels and tires definitely get attention and comments from strangers. For me - I wanted to feel and drive the advantages.
Got any pictures of yours? I know someone named Texascody20 has the 2004 GM version (see link for pictures of his) - his shows exterior chrome trim
