hey guys i have a question
my unlce who is so proud of his toyota camry told moe some thing stupid.
im gonna have my water pump and timing belt changed, and my uncle told me to tell the mechanic to put engine coolant. of couse i have to use new engine coolant, cause when u take off the water pump, the coolant comes out.
but whats more stupid is, he tells me to tell the mechanic to use toyota engine coolant cause its the best. wtf.
can i ask u guys, each manufacture was their own type dont they. what color does honda use, cause he said toyotas red coolant is the best. what color is honda's and what can i say back to him.
thanks

well the coolant i use is orange, it's prestone 5/150. I had to mix it down to a 70/30 ratio of coolant/water though but it works great. The stuff I used beore was green and the temperature guage was higher once warmed up than it is now with the orange stuff in.
