I can make this intake but is it really worth it and plus can't you get hydo-lock messing with stuff like this?

I wouldn't think you'd have a problem with that, no more than with a stock intake. Water has a hard time running uphill but you will still get a little pushed in by wind but I wouldn't be concerned with it too much.

i say be careful and watch the water on the road durring rainy seasons if you do decide to do it.

my camaro HAS HYDROLOCKED simply by having the baffles removed on a tpi. so i went thru a pretty deep puddle and the water hit the lowest spoiler in the front and got sprayed up thru where the grill is on your car and the intake is right there practicaly on top of the radiator and water got sucked right into the motor.

I wasnt goin fast or even revving the motor, just trying to coast like 5 mph thru an overflowing gutter and she died.

just be careful i guess is all im saying, i personaly wouldnt go that route, just not worth it. in my opinion.
ps i bought the car with the baffles removed.
