Radio unlock code HELLP!

Hey, I just got a 1998 2.0 and the radios locked up...
Please help me get the unlock code!

go to a dealer

or call them first...

the dealer can give you the code if you give them your vin number and the serial number off the radio.

So i have to take the radio out and get the serial number? Is ther any shortcuts... radio # located somewhere else..?
I had a pontiac grand am gt and all you needed to do was call a 800 number and read the code on the radio display??

I think what was ment, the VIN on your car! The dealer will give you the code or you will need to bring the CAR in w/you.

You need both the serial number off the radio, requires removal, & the VIN. Bring about $30 too (more if you have them pull the radio).

Yea, screw that, i got a new mp3playin headunit for less than what they wanted to activate the shitty tape player
