SRS Light MES problem

Hey guys, a while back my SRS light came on and i followed instructions on another thread in an attempt to reset the SRS light using the MES plug. However, when i tried the procedure, i couldn't get the light to go on and off or anything. I have a 1995 Honda Accord EX, any suggestions?

When a light like the SRS, ABS, or check engine light is on there is a problem. Retrieve the codes and repair.

If the SRS or ABS light is on that means that system is shut down or may not work properly.
