engine swap

hi...new to the forum and in much need of help...here's the deal...99 cougar w/ 2000 engine and harness....hooked up as much as possible seeing as we now have extras....hit the key...no start....does anyone know the dif in the 99 and 2000 engine harness? any ideas on what to try next besides blowing it up???thanks in advance...

its its like the contour, they went from a return to a returnless fuel system. Not even worth the effort to swap a return harness. Did you check the fuel bleeder valve to make sure you have fuel pressure?

Did you just get done swapping the engine?

as soon as I hit the key ..nothing happens,but if I jump the starter it turns over...as far as the fuel system,we already changed fuel rails...just finished about 4 this afternoon...then a wonderful storm came up....would anyone happen to know if it could be PATS ? does anyone know how to reset it?

I had the same problemon a 97 monte carlo engine swap... ended up being a fuse blown to the computer..... just a suggestion....
