im thinking about buying a 3.4" supercharger pulley for my 98 GTP (3800). besides a K&N filter, its all stock in my engine. My question is:

what else will i have to buy for when i install the new pulley? i was told i might need to get a new PCM but I want to know for sure what i should expect. so, what else do i need to buy at the time that i purchase the pulley.

thanks!

Although its recommended you really don't need a re-programmed PCM with a 3.4 SC pulley. And a GoodYear Gatorback SC belt will minimize any possible high rpm slip.

Plus you should get spark plugs that are a least one range colder in the event of knock retard (KR).

You don't NEED any other upgrades, but other mods like a CAI and exhaust will give you better power gains. The re-programmed PCM is also a plus, but not required when swapping the pulley. You'll only need to replace some parts if you decide to install a pulley smaller than a 3.4".
