How do i remove the lining on the roof, its such a pain in the ass to clean it looking up

It's even more of a pain in the ass to remove the headliner!
The headliner is one of the first parts that goes in when the interior is assembled. To get it out you need to remove the door trim, window trim, rear view mirror, visors, and pretty much all major interior pieces except for the seats, door panels and carpet.

well here's the thing, the only thing i have left inside of my car are the gauges, my seat, the stearing wheel and the headliner, the car was nastly when i bought it, i actually have to clean underneath the carpet and shit, so i have complete access to the headliner, i just don't see how its held on

Look closely at the headliner, you'll find a few plastic plugs that hold it in.
