I am going to replace the rotor cap & ignition wires on my `87 classic
5.0 litre v8 and was wondering if there is a particular manufacturer that has been found to be the best. Any recomendations?
Thanks.

I use strictly Standard Ignition wires cap and rotors. If they're available, upgrade to their Blue Streak line of parts.

When it comes to basic tune-up parts, I usually stick with AC DELCO. I've tried Standard's line as well as Neihoff, Accel, NGK and the like, even Bosch.... but AC to me seems like they last longer and run smoother to me.

To each their own, though... Everyone has a preference.
