6" JRC intercooler or Supra SMIC?

Ok so here is the deal, I have someone that was thinking about buying my supra intercooler off me for $180 or so. And I was thinking why not sell it and get the johnnyracecar 6" intercooler. The 8" looks good too, but I really dont want to trim my bumper support (just incase of an accident). So my question is do you think the 6" would be better then the Supra SMIC and will the 6" fill up my bumper?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I don't think it's going to provide a noticable diffference between the two. But the fmic will definitely help out with cooling. I would just sell that supra smic and buy the other one.

The fmic will be far better. I don't really think the cutting I did on the plastic bumper support compromised the crash integrity of my car, so you might consider the 8" core. It's only like $30 more.

FMIC will be better...make sure you know where/how to fab some good piping for the FMIC, JR intercoolers are building a great name for themselves at an incredible price. If I could go back in time, I would get that or somethign similar instead of the HRC super sidemount.

Yea the 8" looks real nice too. But the problem is the bumper support (like insurance rejecting my claim after finding out the bumper was cut/tampered with) that type of problem. Joe Do you think the 8" would fit under the bumper support without too much of the intercooler sticking out underneath?

I just installed the 8 inch on my car and i can tell you that u will have to cut the bumper. If you put the intercooler underneath the bumper it will hang down way to low.
