u-joints

Hey everyone Im new to this site but I have been on others so no virgin here.
My question is ..has anyone had problems with their u- joints going bad at lower miles.
Both front and rear joints went and I think this is too soon for them to go bad at 41000 miles on a 2002 silverado z-71 ext cab.

just wondering if anyone else had problems with them.

Different size tires or lift kit? What mods from stock have been done? What percent of time is truck off road and in 4 wheel drive, in mud/hwy?

I have a 99 Z-71, my u joints go out on me about every 30-35k. i took it to a few shops and most of them said it was normal but i've also found some shops won't touch them because of the aluminum drive shaft. mine usually start as a squeak then turn in to a vibe.
