I'm looking at buying some swaybars for my '97 Civic DX Hatch. Any recommendations on which swaybars to buy? Some sell a set, others just a rear bar? I'd like to hear what people think of their setups? Is it worth it?

get a larger rear sway bar, upgrade the bushes front and rear. also if u can afford it, get a strut brace. yes its worth it.

I have a Suspension Techniques rear sway bar, and I am pleased with it so far. It is 19mm thick, and I only bought the rear. I believe if you get the front and rear set, the rear is slightly thicker than that, but Im not sure.

Ive heard some things mentioned about bars tearing out of the subframe because they needed more support (usually this is does not seem to occur unless a very thick bar is used, 22mm or more.) If you are worried about this, you should look into the Comptech sway bar (it comes with a brace, which I believe is now available for Civics. Otherwise, you could get a beaks kit, which simply braces the mounting points of your sway bar.
