...since I really have no car to "race" with, just my 4-cylinder, 5-speed 1999 Isuzu Rodeo. My daily commuter. No need to push her, as she won't be pushed, although I can chirp second, if I actually tried (manual rocks).
BUT.
Today, I had an encounter that is AF-material all over.

So I'm driving along, heading...somewhere, when I get passed, and basically cut-off, by this blue-bottomed, orange-topped, large-wing-having Pontiac Sunfire. I have seen this car parked around the area, and I have always commented on how ugly it is. Dan (ac427cpe), has also seen this car.
Anyhow, I see that he's a nice colorful bait for cops, so I followed his lead, and paced behind him, as he was being aggressive.
I guess the dumbass thought that this big, green SUV was trying to "challenge" his road-supremacy, so the idjit (not idiot, idjit), decides to start speeding even more - and cutting-off cars by inches, as he gets his happy ass about several cars in front of his "challenger", while I stay in the lane I was in, blocked by three lanes of traffic. Yes, heavy traffic - that the idjit was weaving in-and-out of.
As what usually happens in these situations, me driving as normally as I can, taking advantage of gaps in traffic, without cutting people off, ended-up AHEAD of the maroon (not moron, maroon).
Anyhow, at a light ahead, I guess he sees the opportunity to "race" me head-to-head, and cuts of a couple of other cars, to get next to me at the head of the light.
I couldn't take it any longer. This ass-wad (AW) needs a good reality-check.
So I roll my window down (he had both his windows down), and yell at him.
Me: "Dude, that's the UGLIEST fucking car I have ever seen!"
AW: "THIS IS A PROFESSIONALLY DONE SHOW-CAR!"
Me: "I've been around sport compacts for a long time, race, and show, and that's STILL, the ugliest thing I have ever seen!"
AW: "You're only the 2nd person to ever think this car is ugly - everybody else thinks it looks good!"
Me: "A Pontiac Sunfire??...a fucking PONTIAC SUNFIRE???" (For all of you J-body advocates out there, I was doing this to piss him off, and for what he did to his car, not exactly for the kind of car he has.)
Me: *LAUGHTER*
AW: *Some babbling sounds* - as I roll my window up.
So, right before the light turns, I decide "fuck it". I rev up a bit, and take full advantage of the RWD, and the larger tires I have, and actually squeal, as I take off from the light.
Guess what? I KILLED him. I actually hopped a full car on him, and had two, by 50, where I slowed down. This was NOT a Sunfire GT, I gau-ran-tee. MAYBE, he just wasn't prepared, but he slowed-down too, so he might've given-up, when he saw my jump.
After this, I figured that was it for me. I said what I had to say, and I'd let him go his happy, ass-wad way.
HAH. Idjit was so pissed at the preceding, that he decides to stomp on it, to do a fly-by on an SUV doing 50 in a 40, and does. I watched him pass me, and cut-off an unmarked police Crown Vic.
Maybe the banner on the back that said "www.reservepolice.org (http://www.reservepolice.org)" didn't tip him off, but the red and blue lights flashing afterwards sure did.
To add insult to injury, as they were passing me, as the idjit slowed-down enough after the lights for me to pass them (I slowed-down too), I angrily pointed to the colorful bouquet passing me, looking at the cops, mouthing "get him!", to reflect the sentiment all the people he cut-off probably felt.
So they both turned, and I went straight, laughing my ass off.
It was my best two kills - EVER. :biggrin:
