Spoiler question

I was sittin at work today and thinking about cars as usual. I was thinkin bout the spoiler on my GT, its ok, but I'd like something that was raised a little bit off the trunk. I've seen the one from west wings and its nice, but too expensive. So, I got to thinking, what about the spoiler off the late (00-04) Chevy Impala's? They're a W body, so they would be close in size I'm guessing. Anybody seen or done this? I'm not sure if I'm gonna do this or anything, but it seemed like it might work. Any ideas/info would be welcome, weither you think it would look ridiculous or if you think it might work.

The pic/link didn't work right, but by the look or the url, I'm guessing its the stock spoiler on a 2005 Impala, and ya, thats what I mean.

thanks alot phaelax. i think it could work. you should try to find someone who can photoshop it to see how it looks on a GP. it might just not look right though thats the only worry i have

Good point. Anyone who is good at photoshopping stuff, I would much appreciate if you gave it a shot. I'm good w/ photo-editing, but not THAT good. Right now, it was just an idea that popped into my head, no serious steps taken towards doing it, but I'd like to see how it would work.

There's a dude around here with a GTP that has a spoiler off a Honda Accord I think. I know it's off a Honda of some sort. The bolt holes just make the trunk width by about an inch. The back edge of the spoiler is about an inch short of being vertical with the back edge of the bumper. It looks way nice, not too tall and slick as anything.
