Drum brake rear ABS sensors?

Can anyone tell me if there is a abs wheel speed sensors on the rear drum brakes of a 2000 Silverado?

I think the rear ABS sensor is near the output of the transmission (2wd) or on the transfer case (4x4). Can't really be any more specific. Maybe your dealer would help you out.

Check for wires/lines coming out of your rear brakes.

1. Hydraulic brake line
2. Cable for parking brake

3. Wheel speed sensor wire? Look for one. A third wire couldn't be anything but this.

Are you sure you have drums on an '00 not disc?

I thought the ABS sensor was on the rear housing and it was one single sensor for both wheels and used the ring gear as the ABS sprag .
