Keyless entry code on 03 Explorer

Hi. This is my first post, so I hope I'm doing it correctly.

I've just purchased a "new" 03 Eddie Bauer. The entry code wasn't in the manual, and the dealership didn't know the keyless entry code either.

How can I find out what it is without having to take it in to a Ford dealership?

I have a 96 and it seems to me that everyone that i Have talked to said the same thing no mater what year it is. in the back cargo area there is the box that holds your jack and that. if you take to cover off you will see the computer to the right on the top of that computer there will be a sticker and it will have a 5 digit number in bold on it. that is the code. you may need a mirror and a flashlight to see it. hope that helps
