blazer pulls to the right

what would make a blazer pull to the right? i thought it might be the right side tire, but its inflated to the recommended capacity. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Front wheel alignment, Sitcky front brake caliper, Improperly worn tire...These are just a few things that would cause your truck to pull to one side.

$40 at a local wheel alignment shop is well worth it. That's what it is most of the time.

How much does it pull.

It is normal for even a perfectly aligned vehicle to go to the right a bit because of the crown in the road.

id say that probably in 30 feet, it pulls over about a foot.

and it doenst matter where i drive it, it always pulls.

I would get an alignment and have your front end checked out.

The inner tie rod end due tend to fail and have to be replaced.

Brake lines can partially collapse, or build up flakes of crud much like your coolant lines/hoses develop scale over time. Except in a smaller diameter hose with a very narrow interior space, they act as little check-valve flaps. Little bits of crud allow fluid to pass in one direction, but not the other making the brake bind on that side. Or worse yet, it's partially collapsed. Stomping on the brakes lets fluid squeeze by the restriction, but it clamps shut allowing only a slow, or almost no leak-down at all keeping the cylinder/piston engaged with some pressure. I had the same problem with my 95. A piece of flexible tubing between the banjo bolt going to the caliper and the rigid line leading to the metering block and ABS was partially collapsed, not allowing fluid to drain back to the resivior. The truck would pull to the right when you first let off the brake pedal! Swapping the flexible part was easy and a cheap fix. The system was thoroughly flushed and bled after that, with a follow-up replacement of the brake line on the driver's side too for good measure. Works like a charm! Oh, and DOT-3 fluid only boys and girls. DOT-4 Silicone/synthetic brake fluid in these ABS systems from GM for some reason is not a very good match.
