My air-conditioner in my 2001 ford Taurus stopped working one day on my way home from work it was cold and inside my car was cold when I shout it off about three minutes later I turned it back on and it was super hot air, if I look under the hood all the lines to the air-conditioner are all cold. The clutch is working But for some reason it blows hot air. It worked fine and now it doesn’t work at all. I checked all fuses and they all seem to be good, I look and under the glove department to see if the doors are opening and closing but I just don’t know what I should be looking for. And don’t know what to take a part under the dash. Please help with my AC thank you IdaBoo

hmm...i'm not entirely sure of this one, but i'm guessing there is some kind of gate which controls the airflow from the AC side of the vents to the heater side (ie: the thing that changes it from blowing cool air to hot air) might have possibly stuck or somehow malfunctioned. just kicking an idea out to you (although i am well aware that pulling the dash apart to play with things like that isnt fun)

You could have a loose vac line that controls the heater control valve or a bad valve. Or a stuck/broken blend door or blend door actuator.
