Front Suspension?

Like to hear from all of you about your thoughts about the front suspension/steering components on the 9x model Storms. I've got a 90 base, and going thru the components little by little, replacing what I can..Looking like bad wheel bearings (getting there) bad lower ball joints, and a friggin broken wheel stud (cheapo tire shop busted it) Found one brake rotor that was really out of round, replaced both of them, helped a bit, but still got a noise from the front end. LF wheel has about 1/4 in of play when wiggling wheel in and out, with wheel off the ground. Struts most likely need replacement.

So far, I feel comfortable with everything but the ball joints/tie rod ends and the bearings...either I don't have the right tools (that's how my tools get built up....buy a specialized tool, let kids leave in grass to rust, buy again, ad nauseum) :) Figure I'll take the car in to a shop for those items, hoping cost will be under 300.00 for bearing/tierod work.
