hey, i just picked this one up yesterday, its my first muscle car =D when i went to look for osme cars i was thinking of getting a crysler 300c but when i saw this i just knew i had to get it. I'm not really into these muscle car thing so this is my first one =) sry if the pics are to big, i dunt have photoshop to resize them..

It looks like a Honda Civic from "Da FaZt n DA FerrIuz" with a Camaro conversion kit... ugh... not my style, but whatever floats your boat.

That Pro-Rodz is a sad, sorry excuse for a Camaro in 1:24 scale. I actually find the Dubs "Big Time Muscle" to be much more tastefully done; I have quite a few of 'em. But the Pro-Rodz...Just can't do it. The 1:18 in black isn't bad, and they have some decent other cars (Impala maybe?) but the 1:24 Camaro...it's just sad.

lol i geuss ur right about that part. i just think the back wheels are a bit big but it kinda makes it look like a drag car =/ mayb ill switch the rims around with something else lol.

To much bling-bling. Nice idea though on Maisto's part putting in a corvette motor. I agree with the others, the car is beautiful, but the rims are horrid. Maybe you should make it a real drag car. Fatties in the rear and skinnies in the front, now that would be cool. :biggrin:

here i changed the back rims for now. its smaller and less fattier =D how does it look? im not really sure if i want to change the front thou...

hmm.. so far i dutn have any wheels like that yet =( but wat i did was raise the rear a bit after i took the those pics. so it doesnt look so dubish lol. But i want the car to look like a modern hotrod or something..

You need to get yourself a set of Cragar wheels. GMP makes a nice set of Cragars with fatties for the rear and skinnies in the front. I just picked up a set for myself on ebay for about $15, I'm thinking about putting them on a 67' Shelby GT500. I think the Cragars would do the trick for this car. :smokin:

P.S. N2oinblood how is the engine detial on that streetfighter camaro? Some pics maybe? :smile:

Modern hot rods is a touchy issue. There is no exact definition of a modern hot rod. A modern hot rod is something that caries a trend of a contemporary, current look. The current look is try to fit the biggest wheels on your car with the smallest tires. Thats what everyone wants to do these days. That you have achieved.

Then again, if you want to have a new look to it. Then go with some smaller rims and beefer tires. Something that stands out is not matching wheels. It doesnt stand out well as a good thing for an elegant hot rod. It gives it the appearence of a tuner.

Stance is everything. If the car is interuppted, unproportional, or to large wheels the car will not look correct to what meets the eye.
