The paint is Testors Silver Base followed by Testors Sapphire Blue. No clear or polish on it at all

What thinner do you use for that paint? I actually heard u could use laquer thinner with it just fine and it comes out very shiny like that.

Seriously though, I notice you posted in my thread in the "Car Modeling" board. What did you use to paint the aluminum parts?
I was thinking about wiring the engine on mine (I am building a blue one too, as well as a black one) but I wasn`t sure since it looks like the fuel rail covers cover them up. Are you able to see them under the rail covers?

Well for wires I used This stuff from Radioshack called Wire Wrapping Wire. Nope they came in red, I made mine Covers Removeable so I can take them on and off to show off the wiring

Did you use metalizers on the engine? Did you have any problem with them "eating" or etching the plastic like most of us have?

nope I used Rustoleum Aluminum paint. Ive been using this stuff for years. It comes in a pint sized can
