I'm Huge

I want a 05 mustang but i don't know if i would fit. I'm 6'4" and it's a tight squeeze into a 98. I havn't been to the dealer to sit in the drivers seat because i hate salesmen. So i guess what I'm asking is if there are any similar 6 footers and up who have 2005's, do you fit no problem, knees hitting, is there still room to put the seat back some more, does your head touch the headliner. Any other discomfort or no. Im not a fatty so im not worried about lateral comfort so much :biggrin: . thanks in advance people.

I've been in an '05 stang and its got HUGE legroom, and lots of head room I'm 5'8 and I had like a foot of headroom, seat moves back like 6" or so and there very low in the car :grinyes: .

It definately has more room that my 03 GT

I'm 6'2" and i know the SN-95+ stangs are tight for me unless they have the popular seat track mod. I haven't driven and 05 yet but I heard they did a lot to increase driver room vs the previous model.

I guy I work with, who is 6' 6" 280lbs, and he fit. He said he was amazed, I'll leave it at that.

I've been driven in an 05 (friend test drove it) and i can surely say the front area is much bigger than an 04 stang...i've never been in a 98 though.

BTW, do not get the 6....i know insurance is more, and gas etc...but trust me...TRUST ME....GET THE 8... Just the sound alone of that car is enough to make me wish i had it. The 6 is a big six, and has plenty of power...but drive both, you'll see what i mean..

u gettin a 6 or 8?

i dont think i could own a v6 stang on a clear concience. omg there is no better sounding car than a v8 mustang, the plan is to get a v8 with the spoiler delete option, and adding a xenon duck tail spoiler. http://www.steeda.com/store/-catalog/008-12120.htm . Does anyone think that ford would just give you the painted spoiler not attached to the car ( i seriously doubt it, but it would get about 100 bucks on ebay). Also in the near future would be flowmaster axle back exhaust, and k&n air box. And eventually when the warrenty is up, go a bit more extreme on the upgrades. I'm just a bit miffed that the 06 isnt available in the mineral grey, but the tungsten grey is cool too. But thats the plan anyway, i just sold my 1971 fastback "project" on ebay, and next up is selling te 99 cougar (worst car ever), and after a bit of saving i'm gonna have a big enough down payment to keep some managable monthly payments. Anyway I think thats enough running at the mouth for me today. Thanks again for all the info guys.
