Envoy Problems

I have a 03' and I was driving to Orlando this past weekend when I was driving at about 80 mph the car started to startle and pull back for maybe a second and than it went back to normal. The same thing happened when I was driving back at about 85 mph the car did the same thing. Does anyone have an idea what the cause can be. It felt as if the car was pulling back and had no power. I did have an oil change on the same day when this happened.

How many miles on truck? Has the fuel filter ever been changed? Bad gas?

It has 40k miles. I've had it since it had 16k and never have had the fuel filter changed.

did it get worse when driving for a while? and seemd to lack power? poss the converter is plugged.This should set a code and the check engine light would come on though. just a thought.

well it sound like your governor was kicking on, my 2002 does it at a 110 though, its designed to prevent you from driving to fast
