97 GTB Airbag Light

ahhhh....
Problem with my airbag light, seems to stay on for 2-3 mins after startup then every now and then it seems to come on, and at the same time the horn has stopped working, I have been in contact with my local dealer as there was a service recall on 97/98 legacys and Imprezas for faulty airbag control modules, so it's getting replaced FOC next week, I've noticed that when stationary if I play with the steering wheel the airbag light flickers and sometimes stays on, maybe it's a loose connection in the column? anyone else had these problems?
+ Knocking rear shock -----
Car has a knock in the pass side rear, shock bush worn??
