my car is crazy! i need help

all right my car has gone crazy and i need help figuring it out. first thing first its a 1983 toyota celica gt 22re 5 speed, and now the problem. its having a starting problem but only at specific times in the day mainly between the hours of 12pm and 4pm, but after that it will fire up no problem and squall tires thru three gears. ive done everything i can think of even the guys at toyota cant figure it out. ive replaced just about everything on the car the motor is rebuilt, new plugs and wires, distibutor, ignitor, two out of three main wiring harness(behind the dash and the motor harness),4 new injectors, fuel press reg, fuel filter, etc... yet it still wont fix the problem. so i figued maybe someone out there is having or has had the same thing happen to them and can help me out here. i think im going crazy too.

i think i might have figured it out, i think its the ignition swich. so im replacing that part monday. even though its costing me $154 for the part. cross your fingers

Have you checked your clutchswitch??? Mine was kinda doin that and I bypassed the switch with just a toggle, so now I can flip the switch and no one can start the car without finding the switch and switching it back. :)

are you talkin about the neutral safty switch? i wish my car had one. ive tried to crank it to many times while in gear

I guess that is what it is... It is the saftey device that doesn't allow you to start the car without the clutch in...

yeah thats the neutral safety switch. i think i have fixed it i put in a new ignition switch(eletric part) and it fired right up. i dont know well see tomorrow
