Ok Things I like and things I don't like.
I like the LEDs in the stock headlamps...How did you do that??? That's frigg'in cool.
I like the grill too is that just a bolt over?
The Driving lights look sweet but, I think they stick out a bit too much. Now do you have little driving lights as well in the little slits in the bumper near the middle? Nice touch.
I don't like the covers over the headlights as you have to remove them every time you drive at night but, I must say they look sweet on your ride.
I also don't like the Tailight covers over your tailights, just a tad tacky....
I saw a set of tailight covers the other day that make the tailights look like Caddy Coupe de Ville lights.
I'm also not a fan of those in Dash LCD units. Seems a bit silly to pay that kind of money for something like that when you can almost pay for a laptop and have twice the LCD screen and a lot more functionality. Again just my :2cents: worth. Please don't be offended just my not likes...is all!
Nice wagon though Brett Looks good. FYI me on how you did the lights in the Headlamps that looks like a cool mod....
Keep up the good work, now if I could just find some time and cash to do mine I'd be laughing.

ok the headlamps are easy. i bought headlight leds, and put 1 pair in each light. 4 pairs total, i wanted it to be bright. streetglow makes them. the grill is a bolt over made my ractive i believe. there are 2 sets of strobes in the grill also, and the ones in the littles slits are white strobes with blue leds in them, but not hooked up yet. the only reason i have the indash unit is cause it has navigation and i got a good deal because i work at a stereo shop. the foglights down low i got cheap and there is no way to mount them back farther becasue the plastic doesn't go back far enough. i had the blackouts on the taillights which i may do again, but i lost 1 on the highway, and i thought these might look better if i painted them like i did. thanks for looking, and let me know about the lights in the headlights and parking lights, i have a few extra packs, blue, green, red, and white.
again thanks for the feedback

Very cool!! Lot of work you have done and it shows. Lose the step rails, and get a roll pan for rear end. Would look very sleek (IMHO). You dont want to overdo the accessories so it looks like an :disappoin "Autozone Edition" :disappoin silverado. Your not there, but I think you could be soon if your not careful. I see a lot of trucks around with too many lenses, covers, led's, whistles and jingles all over and it looks bad. I personally like the stealth look, smooth and sleek. But hey, I still have a stock truck LOL with the dealer badge still on the tailgate (untill this weekend hopefully).
anyway.....
Questions:
1. Is that sub box similar to this one : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5795322302&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 I am considering getting it, but I wanted to see it installed first. I just want one 12" sub. Yours looks very snug, stealth.
2. do you have power seats? I do, and I was wondering if an ALPINE 3555 would fit under either front seat. If not behind the rear seat, I think under the rear seat would be good because I have the rear a/c vents on the console to help keep stuff cool. Any thoughts?

I like the front lights. But I really like how you leveled the truck. Its just a couple tiny little inches - but yet those 2 inches really makes it look different.
I'm probably too practical - the tail light lenses and LCD dash unit just aren't something I'd do - but that doesn't mean it doesn't work for you.
I wish you had a close up of your wheels - it was hard to make out the detail of them.
I think your truck is much improved.

Are you asking me to tell you mine is better??? J/K, I do like the leveled look and even thought I can't stand 20's the wheel set up looks good for you. I vote "Just Do It" on the roll pan option. Check out my gallery and see the rolll pan I have, I like the LED's but each to his own. Next you need to come up with a name for the ride, something that describes it......

yeah i have a few pairs, i would sell them for like $8 plus shipping, they retail for 15, but i got a good buy on a bunch. they are simple to put in. you drill holes and they have a rubber seal they will pressure fit in and seal. then you can wire them to flash or stay on constant. pm me if you want some and you can send me the money somehow. money order, paypal or somethin. thanks

that box looks pretty similar. mine is made by www.audioenhancers.com, they retail for about 100 i think. no i do not have power seats, but i did not see any room under the front seats, the back wall is a option. there is a truck on cardomain that has a amp and a few other things behid the seat.

yes a down fire box sounds great, it gives you a good sounding bass, the only problem with forward firing is damage to subs becasue they are exposed and then you hear any kind of noise the sub makes, if it distortes or pops.

WHat kind of sub do you have (10" or 12")? also there is two boxes showing for the single downfire sub for silverado ext cabs: One is 1cu ft, the other is .70Cu FT. I like how yours fit, and that is what I want to see so if you could remember which one you bought that would give me an idea as to what I will have in my truck.
Thanks for your input!!!

mine is .7 cu ft but when you get one you need to find a seb that is recommended for that air space. i have a bazooka sub which can work from. .3 to .85 i beleive. have had the sub for like 2 years i forget the specs. the sub to box match and the correct power to it all is key to getting the sound quality. i am going to redo my system sometime this fall and do 2 10's or 12's and put all the amps on the rear wall behind the seat. i just have to figure all the mods i need to do for this project and money is the big thing right now.

When using a roll pan you get a flip plate and a hidden hitch that stays behind the plate and is not obtrusive when not in use. Looks cleaner when you are not using it. Also my toy now fits in the garage by 6 inches, couldn't with the stock bumper and hitch.
22's, see I still can't count above 18 with out help!!!!

I agree with the tail light covers...just a little too much. keep it simple and unique. The grill looks very nice, but the 2 inch drop and wheels is what really makes your ride stand out. Maybe later on you can look into a hardtop tonneau cover matching the color of your truck. That would really complete the exterior look. keep it up bro.

Roll pan $100 - $200 on eBay or better locally. Roll Pan Hitch $150 - $175. Money from selling bumper $150 +. Money from selling stock hitch $100 +. Cost to paint by friend $100 +. Installation less than an hour, easy. Final cost, prep and paint, less if you have a body man for a friend. :jump3:
Nelson Tune.... went to his shop and did driving custom tune $425 +/-. Electric fan harness $75. If you do a tune across the phone he charges delivery cost and will not stop helping you until you are happy. You do have to return your old PCM. After initial setup is good you get 3 free changes per year minus the delivery cost so when you change the heads, cam, etc he will work with you until you are satisfied. email Blenderwizerd and ask about the PCM install as he has done his a few times.
Do the tune before you get to much farther as I did it for the mpg and I got driveability as a bonus. :sunglasse

I agree with the step bars. What's the use on a lowered truck? It would look cleaner without them IMO.
I did just add a set to my truck, but it is raised 2" instead of lowered and my kids could no longer get into it by themselves. I liked the looks better before I added them but they work well.
As for the covers, if you like them, keep them. Build your truck the way YOU want it. It seems to be turning out pretty good so far with your own ideas. I'm not a fan of the euro-lamps either.
