Radio in 97 SE and A/C problem

I just replaced the compressor in my grand prix and it seemed to be working fine. As I was coming home from my in-laws I noticed that the air coming out of the vent on the drivers side was not as cold as the air coming out of the passenger side. I do not have the dual climate control. Why would the air feel different on the passenger side than on the drivers side? I also had the lights on the radio go out. The radio and cd player still work but there is not clock or display to show what radio station or track I am on. Please help.

It's the backlight inside your the LED on your radio....go to the following thread to repair it.

As for your AC (seems to be quite a common question around these parts ;) ), it is probably just low on freon. I ordered a top-up kit from an ebay store that included a hose with pressure guage and a can of freon/ac oil/leak stopper. Cost about 30$.

If not, an AC garage should be able to tell you if its low and top it up.
